Those were my exact thoughts when watching this unfold on TV and repeatedly hearing that the gunman was Using a "AR15"... Even on different channels, all the reporters kept putting a slang/attitude/emphasis on "AR15" that struck a nerve with me, I thought 'great, here we go again"

Oh I will too but you won't find me charging a gunman armed with a rifle and possible body armor. Retreat to a position that gives you the greatest advantage and prepare to fire if need be.
