Any advantage in having a Non-resident Arizona CCL?

I've heard that having a Arizona CCL (non-resident) is advantageous. But, I've looked at the reciprocity maps and can't see the advantage. In fact, the latest reciprocity maps I found show Oklahoma resident CCL is accepted in more states than the Arizona non-resident CCLs.

What say you? Is there an advantage to obtaining a non-resident Arizona CCL? If so, why?

The advantage for me at the time I got mine was the lower cost and shorter wait time compared to the OK license. It also costs less to renew.

At that time reciprocity wasn't a big concern outside of Oklahoma and it still really isn't for me.

That makes sense. If you don't already have an Oklahoma CCL, the AZ license would be a more cost-effective option.

I chose to get an Oklahoma license because I like things to match. I live in Oklahoma. I have an Oklahoma drivers license. I just thought it'd look weird having a handgun permit/license from another state.

Edit: I will also say that all this training that gets talked about comes with getting an Oklahoma permit. I'm pretty sure the online out of state process doesn't require the training. I will say there was one option that seemed to combine the two. There was a guy who taught a class, did your prints and everything else at the same class and then he did your stuff online to get you an out of state permit. That option was wayyyy to weird for me.

I had an AZ non-res before my OK just because I didn't have time (read: couldn't bring myself) to sit in an OK required class. I've had resident licenses in ID, OR, & UT, just didn't feel like taking the class again. My previous classes and even my hunter's ed met the requirement for the AZ license.
