Anarchy? As in the belief that government is both unnecessary and a bad thing? That people ought to be self-governed? I'm not to up on his whole anarchism stuff...can you please explain?

With the change in administration, OSA leftists appear to have gone into hiding. I believe they are lurking and are waiting for the return of the leftist apocalypse once Elizabeth Warren occupies the Whitehouse.

Socialism appealed to the working class in the early years of the 20th century in America, because hard-working people somewhat naturally despise the idle rich. A hundred or so years later, when fewer and fewer hard-working people are supporting more and more idle idiots who can't be bothered by outdated notions like work and personal responsibility, Socialism obviously has less traction with the working class. Anarchy is idiocy pretending to be an ideology, while Socialism is the plaything of small minds.

This is one of those areas where the passing knowledge of history might be helpful....

""Work conquers all" is an adaptation of a phrase in Virgil Georgics' "...Labor omnia vicit / improbus" ("Steady work overcame all things"), a poem that was written to support Augustus Caesar's "Back to the Land" policy, which was meant to encourage more Romans to become farmers." From here - https://statesymbolsusa.org/symbol-official-item/oklahoma/state-motto/labor-omnia-vincit

The plate represents an early state flag.

They really ought to change the license plate with the red flag and the star and the "LABOR OMNIA VINCIT" motto then.

ha!

anarchist, not a leftist.

Exactly, I’ll never understand how people can equate anarchy with anything on the left side of the political aisle, when it’s the most extreme kind of conservatism that exists. People talk about the “far right” in reference to nazis, really the nazis were leftists focused on race instead of class. Anarchsists are the far right.

The plate represents an early state flag.

That early state flag was dubbed the "red flag of sedition".

That's not the only scope of anarchism, but yes, states are considered bad in anarchist thought, as are all levels of unjustified authority. This does not mean society would be disorganized or lawless. On the contrary, society can be highly organized in a libertarian fashion, free of authority.
