Anybody get anything cool that is gun-related today?

Thanks to @CutBaitNBlowSh*tUp4ALivin I ended up with this sling from GatMonkey who I’d never heard of before. They put out some pretty wacky stuff, this is one of the more conservative options on the site. It’s a nice sling though! The quick adjust works really well and it looks cooler than the Magpul I did have on it.View attachment 410038View attachment 410039

I got one of those when I bought a Henry off of Beau. Liked it so much that I bought a second, and I’ve seriously considered buying a third just to keep around. They’re so cheap and by far the most bang for the buck I’ve found in an optic.

I would like a few reports of your sets using this, this coming winter.

Well, I'm at 100% on it. Was messing with it on the kitchen counter while the wife was watching TV.
I got admonished about disturbing her TV time with wild game calls, so took it out the back door, turned on the coyote locator, and let it rip for a minute or so, then turned it to the coyote yipping for a couple of seconds, looked up and there was a coyote broadside to me at 60 yards in the powerline right of way staring at me. No gun in my hand, so went to reach for the phone to take a pic, and it wandered back into the woods.

The critter makes a great compact/transportable dove decoy, too. We put it out one night because it was the only thing we had that moved. They couldn’t have come in better and we got a limit. Did the same the next night but attached a “wing” to the top instead of the fur, same result. Its worked enough now that It’s a permanent part of my dove arsenal, haha. Packs up a heckuva lot better than a mojo

And that’s awesome that you called a coyote in. At your house. On the first time using the call. I have squirrels and rabbits and feral meter checkers at my place. I called a neighbors house cat into the cab of my pickup once?

If it was anything but rimfire I'd say it was a compensator but it's how it was sold from the factory
