Finally found my unicorn Remington 700 bdl varmint special chambered in 7mm-08. Been looking around 10 years for one and it finally fell in my lap. Remington doesn’t make guns like this anymore sadly. Problem is the guy has one in 6mm too and I can’t decide if I need to buy it as well

I'd have to dig deep to get the 6mm if it is in as good shape as the one in the pic. Beautiful rifle!

Yeah, do that. I'm almost totally into MSR's now but one can still add a classic to the collection.

Finally broke down and got some cci mini mag varmit 22. Gonna give them a run, see if the old model 60 likes them better over the rem golden's I been feeding it. For about 2 dollars more if they are better in the old girl will start racking up a supply of them.

I found a guy online that has all 8 calibers that were made who sent me some info on them some time back when I was really searching for the 708. I think it’s one of the best looking rifles ever made.
