Got this, but haven't opened it or put it up yet.
A fellow OKS member pointed me toward a listing for this gun. I was able to make a deal and pick it up this morning.
This is a 32 year old Gen 1 G17L Ported model from the first group shipped out. Serial numbers DAxxx shipped in April 1988. 3000 total Gen 1 G17Ls were made, about 800 total were ported. Many have had barrels replaced as this design of port was bad about cracking.

Bought a Colt Competition 1911 45acp today. Got it cleaned and lubed and ready for the next time i go to the range.

(In previous post, people have wrongly assumed that the gun shown is a pistol not a rifle. There was much controversy and silly people who made a huge deal about it. To further appease the small minority who assume and get ruffled feathers, both these guns are rifles, registered as SBRs, and the suppressors are also appropriately registered. I follow all municipal, state, tribal, and federal regulations, including the migratory bird act.)

Don't have pics yet but I picked up a Stevens Model 85.
I now have the set of Stevens 83, 84 ,85, 86, 87, and an 87T (Tenite stock).
Still hunting for a Savage model 3 and an 87M.

Finally got time to take pics,
Someone stripped and refinished the stock. I'm going to be returning it to it's original color.
I've been looking at K/L frame round butt targets for a while. I just can't cough up the funds without knowing how they handle.
