Went to the pawn store to pick up my 17 Design lower from Primary.

But also walked out with this.

1970 Winchester 94 30-30 Had my youngest with me and he’s not the best influence. Kept saying “do it” while I was looking at it. Then was so excited to see how my wife was going to react when we got home. [emoji1787]

Scored ammo at Cabelas yesterday so the instigator and I took it out for a try.

He approves!

Coalgate, Ok.
Mail call was good today. Got 6 22 pop bottle metal targets and some white box ammo fmj 45. This is cool because I reached a plateau of the number of factory 45 ammo (brass for reloading). Now I can shoot the ammo I find to buy which I've been reluctant to do till certain numbers I wanted to have in stock. With the number of factory ammo I have, I have the proper amount that I feel I want and add to my brass for reloading. I've got all the lead I will need, powder.....you can never have enough powder but I have a few lbs (not the number of lbs I want on hand to start re-loading). I'll do that when I get the amount I want on hand and reload with what I find. Silly but that's ok.

I forgot to give credit to the person that gave me such a great deal on the ammo, James Abram. Great guy that did me more than right. Thanks James. You are a good man to do business with. Thanks

Brand new Bushnell XRS 2 should be here next week from Midway thanks to great clearance prices on the G3, non-illum reticle models.

Shiny new Bison Tactical Tactical Udder bag for long range shooty games. And to rustle fudd jimmies when I have my rifle on goofy props and tripods.

Thanks to Uncle Sam and @surjimmy I now have this amazing Ithaca 72 .22lr lever action.

The action on this is buttery smooth and I doubt it's ever been fired. (I will be changing that here soon.)

Made in West Germany between 1973-1978. This does have a tell-tale screw that puts it at the very front of that production range. This is a direct predecessor to the Henry H001.

It has one scratch on the side, but not a big deal for one I'm going to shoot
