Wife and I went to try and sell an AR-15 that we had to raise some additional funds for the upcoming surgery. We had a few inquiries, however there were ALLOT of AR’s for sale. Walking by a table and a gentleman and his wife asked what and how much. He offered me a straight trade for a nice 1954 Winchester 94 30-30 in trade, at first I was not that interested but as I walked around my gut told me this was a good deal. We went back and made the deal. Based on my research and the condition, I think we did the right thing. Now do I sell or keep....
Those of you more knowledgeable in lever actions, pleases advise. Thank you

Looks like the week for Lever actions. That looks phenomenal.
I'd keep it, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. There are a few I wish I hadn't sold, but at the end of the day, needs outrank desires.
Picked up these Whalen shelves at Costco today ($20 off, I think that put them around $130), definitely thicker steel than the Home Depot/Lowes offerings. They went together really easily and I can finally start putting up ammo and reloading gear without worrying about breaking flimsy particle board shelves on most units. Anyway, really happy with them and it really helps to be a little more organized to be able to visualize what I've got and what I'm lacking...

They are just hilarious looking pieces of brass. Short, fat, bottlenecked, tiny case head compared to the body.
