I bought one of those, put it on a rifle, zero'd it and it still sits in the safe. Really need to test the BDC.
I’m looking forward to playing around with this one. I had one on a Henry lever action that I didn’t shoot a whole lot, sold the optic with the rifle.

Already done! Maybe. I did this a little backwards, the receiver was the last piece of the puzzle. It started as a stock 10/22 with the exception of a TacSol barrel and a Hogue stock. I replaced the trigger group first (Hornet), then added a JWH bolt and a Tandemkross charging handle. Also switched the stock to the Magpul and added an extended mag release and an aftermarket bolt release. By that time the receiver was the only remaining stock part; Brownells had the Volquartsen receiver in stock so I thought “why not” and ordered it.
Ordered another bull barrel and built a second 10/22 with all the spare parts!
You did a bang-up job on that 10/22, time to turn some varmint heads into a fine pink mist!

May as aks you as anybody. I notice for dangerous game underwood and similar always recommend heavy and solid or hard cast, is that for deep penetration?

an extended choke from Briley...maybe I should have said "another..." I spend way too much money at that place.
I have a new gun - didn't get it today, got it the other day - not sure exactly what to do with it though.
