Right up my alley! A 6.5-06 and .25-06 on '98 Mausers! How you like that 6.5-06? I toyed with the idea of building one, but talked myself out of it.

I like it, have done some longer range shooting with it on targets, plus killed a couple nice bucks and coyotes along the way. Not a lot of recoil, lot less than any 270 Win I've ever shot. I run 123 gr A Max's at just over 3000 fps, and thats not near max load. Easy to find brass and the 6.5 bullet selection makes it a good build choice to me...

Could be that Califolrnia considers all games wardens to be a little bit 'Barney' [Fife].

It is a backup gun, because the same seller now has the full size G22 to go with it. I know what I must do.
