I pre-ordered the new SLx 3X MicroPrism from Primary Arms on 2/22/22. The site says they will be available in April. Mine arrived this evening. Initial impresions are positive.

I was definitely checking that one out. I think that’s the smallest magnified optic I’ve ever seen.

It is pretty small. Eye relief is short - listed as 2.7 inches.

Picked up a very nice Rock Island 1911 from a member on her a few days ago. Now to do a little custom work on it. Can use some help with this. General plan is to have it refinished to resemble a Springfield Ronin or Kimber two tone, but better. I have rosewood grips with an Army coin inlayed coming. Wanting to have the slide engraved with my rank, name, and dates of service on the left side, and cross sabers on the ejector side. Then need someone to do a really nice hot bluing job on the slide. Then have the frame cerakoted silver. I found a couple of places that can do the engraving and cerakote (Harsh in Norman, or Blue Haven in MWC). Still need someone that can do the bluing. Appreciate any suggestions as to where to have this work done. View attachment 257055

Wanting something a little nicer, but gave up on the blueing. Didn't find anyone local and the ones on the internet were 6-10 months out. Will have to go with Cerakote.

3" Smith & Wesson model 10-8 w/ bobbed hammer and action job by Clark Custom guns. It came with factory Magna grips, but I put it between a set of Purpleheart combat grips from John Culina.

That is a beautiful gun. That grip is cool

H&R 732 .32 S&W long off GB. Would make a good tackle box gun.

Just received in the mail today. This is my third one, I now have them in all my AR rifles. Smoothest running bolt carriers I have ever used. Absolutely no failures at all in any of them and super easy to clean, carbon just doesn't stick to them like other carrier Assy.

Got two slides back from Wager Machine works, a 17 and a 26. Had both of them cut for RMRs and had the 17 cerakoted ODG. Really happy with their work.
Also had some suppressor height sights come in for both and picked up the grey RM06 up last week but didn’t post it.

DU banquet was good tonight. Won a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmore along with a couple other items. Only got to look at it for a minute before it was taken away. Appears to have a thread protector on the muzzle so hoping the can will fit.
Now to start buying a scope, dies, components and so on when getting my hands on it. It will be at the FFL tomorrow but I usually get delayed so don't expect to get hands on until later next week but have a stock photo.
