Anybody on here a Tulsa Police Officer??

I want to go on a Citizen Ride-Along...

I moved to Tulsa earlier this year and I dont know a whole lot of people here yet, but I'm trying to find someone to take me along.
I have the paperwork, Just want to put someone down so I dont get stuck with someone random I guess...

Also, in the paperwork it says I cannot carry a weapon, I have my CCL so does that matter at all? I would prefer to have it on me if I went.

Any help would be appreciated...

As for the gun issue, I think that you really should discuss that with the LEO rather than this bunch of jackwagons on the forum.

As the wife of an OHP trooper who's done a ride-along I can tell you that your CCL does not matter at all in this instance. What you prefer has nothing at all to do with the liability the department would incur if you took your gun along and things went sideways.

Follow the rules on the paperwork. Especially if the person you will be doing the ride-along with is not a personal friend or family.

Oh ... and wear your waders ... You are gonna need them ...
