Anyone else buying mags for guns they don't own?

I've got a few guns on my wish list that I probably won't get around to actually buying for a while, but I've been trying my best to buy magazines for them.

So far I'm collecting Ruger SR9 and Glock 20 mags. I figure the guns will still be there next year, but the mags for them won't be.

I put an order in at Brownell's for some .308 Pmags in case I happen to find a .308 Ar. I'd also buy some bulk G3 mags if I happened upon them at pre-crazyness prices. Other than that I'm not buying any new guns that I don't have mags for and I'm not buying mags I don't have guns for, that moneys better spent on ammo or AR doo-dads.

I'm actually buying some components that could be potentially banned. Like collapsible stocks, 6 position buffer tubes, and foregrips. Got a few mags but I'm not paying $50 for a Pmag. At least what I have bought so far has been at normal pricing.

I've only purchased components for what I own. I try to keep everything multipurpose. I don't want one gun that has special parts that I can't use in a different gun. I had everything I needed before all of this so I only buy what is within reason.

I had some mp5 mags I was saving because I wanted to build one, but i realized that was never gonna happen, so I traded em for some AR mags

Mags for guns I don't own? Hell I'd just like to be able to buy mags for the guns I do own!!!

The thought crossed my mind but the mags are already so hard to find its not a real savings.
