Anyone put an aftermarket FF rail on an M&P 15-22?

I know the barrel nut is a different size for the .22 but I think there are adapter nuts. Just wondering if anyone had any luck with doing this.

There is a thread adapter available (ebay ?) that converts the threads to a stnd. barrel nut thread. The trick is to get the S&W nut off, without turning the barrel in the receiver. There is also a tool for that available. I made one out of conduit and it worked, just make sure you are only turning the barrel nut.

I clamp the barrel in a vice when removing the barrel nuts. That way I'm not stressing the upper receiver.
