AR problem

i need pointed in the right direct for help with one of my AR's. I need a gunsmith recommendation....the bolt is stuck ( I mean stuck! ), can't even move the charging handle. Now here's the kicker, I don't know if the round in it is live or not. My son was out shooting today and he didn't remember if it discharged or not. Trying to be careful, looking down the barrel with a flashlight, i can't tell either. I need a professional to look at it....thanks in advance!

I think it is beyond that, there's no shooting it out. If i could get the bolt out, I'd try taking a cleaning rod and knocking it back out. But with it having a possible live round in it, I kinda freaked out to mess with it.

sounds logical but it doesn't have a stock on it, it has a pistol buffer tube. Think I'll be ok trying this method with it?

Yes and you really don't have much choice if you want to get the carrier loose.

not yet, to be honest, I just don't have the confidence that I'm not going to break something. It's going to a gunsmith tomorrow....think it's better to let a professional handle it. We will see how it goes.
