The ATF has quietly opened a very short two week public comment period for a proposed rule change that would significantly impact the classification of pistol braces and/or firearms equipped with said braces. In short, they want to turn your brace equipped pistol into SBR, retroactively.
This administration's ATF already stuck a blow against bump stocks, and we let them because some folks didn't care about bump stocks. This arguably opened the door for more reclassification action.
