Posted elsewhere but it needs it's own thread.

The ATF has quietly opened a very short two week public comment period for a proposed rule change that would significantly impact the classification of pistol braces and/or firearms equipped with said braces. In short, they want to turn your brace equipped pistol into SBR, retroactively.

This administration's ATF already stuck a blow against bump stocks, and we let them because some folks didn't care about bump stocks. This arguably opened the door for more reclassification action.

Here is the link to submit comments. Be concise, factual, and calmly state your case against the rule change. Don't cut and paste someone else's comment or it may be deleted. Include ATF and the document # (ATF 2020R-10) at the beginning of your comment.
