I need some help. My youngest son has a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport that is having door lock problems on both doors. Is there anyone out there in the Okc or Blanchard area that can work on these things? I'm sure the door panels will have to be taken off and the lock mechanisms are the problem. Looking for someone local who will do the work at a fair price.

Just a suggestion before you call a locksmith, take your title to the dealer and have them cut a fresh key from the VIN number. In many cases the key is worn down enough to not disengage the tumblers, having a duplicate made at walmart just copies the same wear pattern to a new key vs the dealer that can cut a fresh key without the wear patterns.
