I have anschutz and a cz if you are just shooting for fun I would pick the cz it's a lot cheaper And they shot great but I did change the trigger it was about $80 well worth it

I think the OP is looking for a left hand version. CZ452's are quite the value when it comes to a rimfire rifle.

I just bought a CZ 455 from damascus gun shop, man it is the best. It was expensive for a 22, but not as expensive as an anschutz.

Being a right handed that shoots lefty I've found that left handed guns are harder to operate. I'm still right handed making the everything on the lefty gun harder to operate. Find a right handed gun that has an ambi safety. Jmo

I have a Savage MKII FSVR. I think it's a good gun, but it is no comparison to the CZ in my opinion. If I was getting my dad a .22, it would be the CZ 455.

I think I have settled on a CZ. He hasn't decided whether he wants a left handed bolt or right handed bolt. All of his other rifles are right hand bolt. Thank you for the recomendations.
