Jim Shoulders was the rodeo outfitter for the Ponca Rodeo.
His bad a$$ bull was Tornado.
No cowboy ever rode that bull for 8 seconds.
Yet, his daughter rode the bull bareback at the grand entry. Go figure.

Back in the 1970s and 1980s, Rainier Beer had some of the best beer commercials I've ever seen. For example, they did parodies of movies, TV shows and even other commercials! For example, here's a 1978 take-off of Flash Gordon (with some 2001-A Space Odyssey and Star Wars thrown in for good measure.)


Here's a SNL Weekend Update parody with a Roseanne Roseannadanna and a Jane Curtain look-alike.

The most famous Rainier Beer commercial has just a motorcycle, a 12 pack of Rainier and Mt. Rainier.


While the most infamous one features Mickey Rooney (dressed as a Mountie), a country girl and a glass. It comes in two versions.
