For $99 you can't beat an LT MBT2S. I prefer it over any other trigger out there. The rest of the LT triggers are $118 now, but they always have some kind of promo going on.

My next choice is a non-budget trigger - the AR Gold. It's arguably the best trigger out there IMO but it's spendy $$$$.

I recently bought and installed a Midwest Industries flat trigger, drop in (FCG), into a Rock River Arms RRage LAR-15M carbine. Think it cost around $140.00. Bought this carbine used from a pawn shop, really dug the slender forend on it. Haven’t seen many like it. Lyman digital trigger pull gauge shows between 3.5 to 4 lbs. the stock trigger was rough and heavy 6 lbs. ish. Field tested with over 100 rounds, no issues, FTF, light primer strikes.

Rock River Arms 2 stage match trigger 4.5-5 lb is frequently on sale for 79.99. The 2 stage varmint trigger is 3.5-4 lb is also 79.99 on sale most of the time. Check gun.deals frequently and someone will have them on sale.

Little more work to install but my trigger after working it in to smooth it up (rope trick) it pulls between 4 and 4.25 pounds .
I’m pretty sure that was what my AR10 that I sold off had. I’m no trigger snob, so I might not know much, but it felt pretty nice to me, esp for the platform. I’m used to the crappy mil spec triggers. If I ever get around to shooting an AR more I would buy one of those to throw in at the drop of a hat.

I have a mega arms AR10 with an ELFTMAN drop in trigger that is amazing. 2 lbs, crisp, no creep. May not be “budget” but worth every penny
