Best Mexican restaurant in Norman....or not

I’m also here to suggest you try mama veca! The Peruvian spin is a nice change up from the run of the mill Mexican joints. Lots of fun stuff on the menu to try.

It’s right by the Lowe’s as previous members have mentioned. Definitely give it a try sometime

Pepe’s- in Norman. He’s a very interesting dude- guy who owns it. They do not serve Cheese dip (Caso)- they don’t desire that clientele. That should tell all.

Wife loves fish and someone mentioned the Peruvian is more oriented in that direction than meat/Tex Mex. Will give it a try next time in Norman.

The Ted's in Del city has tasteless food as far as my wife and I are concerned. We've eaten there twice and there was no improvement. And as for reviews, take them with a grain of salt. In the past historically, a lot of reviews on tripadvisor were fake and from the business themselves.
The guys on here give factual and honest reviews.

When Ted's only had the one restaurant it was very good. When they expanded the quality went way down. The only good thing still there is the guacamole salad.

Ate at Mama Veca in Norman about 10 years ago and was pretty good.

Used to eat there every weekend. Food quality and raised prices drove us away.

We now go to El Mirador in Noble. Great prices,good food, good portions and cheap margaritas.

In queso you didn’t know, because you don’t eat it, it was previously spelled Queso.

What clientele desires queso?

When we had a restaurant we did not discourage paying customers. The restaraunt business is difficult enough
