Best place to buy a Holosun optic

Didn’t know you were down I Texas. The gas would most definitely kill the price. Flat rate shipping from USPS probably only set you back about $10.

My only hesitation would be all the fake shite on Amazon. I’d personally buy from “Primary Arms” or “Optics Planet” or “Aims Surplus” before rolling the dice with Amazon.

I’ve never heard of fake optics off Amazon, but I got scammed on eBay. Truthfully, the fake Aimpoint I have works great.
I’m up that way fairly regular, so it really wouldn’t cost any extra to stop off to support a member’s business.

I got a fake Romeo 5 and apparently a bunch of fake Gerber knives on Amazon.

One of the problems with Amazon is that when you look at the listings the stuff that is "sold and shipped by Amazon" is usually legit, and it's stored in it's own location. Items that are "sold by XYX and shipped by Amazon" on the other hand are an amalgamation of stuff that came in from third parties that are all stored in a bin somewhere. So if selling "X" sends fake product it would be mixed in to the same bin as the legit product from sellers "Y" and "Z". so you don't know what you're going to get.

FWIW the Holosun rep said they've only ever seen ONE counterfeit Holosun, and it was very obvious. Like, completely different style body, and Holosun was misspelled.

I'm contacting holosun about a 507K X2 that failed after 4 shots today. I co-witnessed it on the F&N-502 rimfire pistol. Fired three shots right on target, then noticed the dot was stuck in the upper right of the optic. No amount of adjusting could make it move again, even when in a gun vise to eliminate human error.
Holosun has a great reputation and I'm not trashing the brand or model. Apparently, I got the anomaly that failed.

I got great price from @carready on AIMS green. Could not adjust for elevation. Sent in and they sent me a new unit. Works great. Took 3-4 wks.
