Best wonder-nine ?

Best is such a relative term,,,


The CZ-75B (or the variants like the CZ-85B and CZ-75BD) is possibly the finest DA/SA 9mm on the emarket today.

I searched high and low for the perfect Wonder-9,,,
I think I fired (rentals and loaners) every DA/SA pistol out there,,,
The CZ-75B was the one that made me smile and I could hit with it very nicely.

I had a cash windfall that year so I bought the 9mm and the 22 LR Kadet,,,
Unbelievably accurate by my reckoning and extremely reliable.

And as an added bonus they are not expensive compared to other top shelf pistols,,,
Two years ago I paid $499.95 for my 9mm.

For 9mm's I'm stickin with my 7 yr old XD 9 sub for my main carry, G17 and Beretta 92F for HDs, G19 for sometimes carry, XDM for HD, etc. Not mentioning my 9mm pocket guns or BUGs. Have had an M&P, a Storm, a few CZs and a few others at one time- all were great, loved the CZs.

I'm not a DA/SA guy, but my wife has a Sig P228 (13 rounder) and it is nice.

If I was buying I would seriously consider a CZ75B not BD
