Us too except we made a big batch a month or so back and froze it! Prefer saltines to cornbread in my chili along with a splash of Tabasco.

Beans ,cornbread, chicken tamale, and fried potato’s covered all the bases for me.
Chili , cheese and onions with saltines is one of my favorites.
Here as well, but for tonight's fare, the wife mixed in some Chicken Gumbo soup and made Sloppy Joes from the mixture. Good tasting, but as expected, not as thick as the chili would have been by itself.
Wife said tomorrow! I showed her these photos.
