Really nice truck, will be a lot of fun to drive. Let's hope she doesn't get too crazy going off road in it.
Oldest daughter turns 16 in October. She’s got her permit and done her hours of driving with an instructor. She’s driven several miles in the last few years helping me. Some on public roads but mainly on the ranch. She’s hauled numerous loads of hay and cattle navigating tight turns and gates so I’m sure that helped some. Anyhow I started huntin her an older 7.3 powerstroke or 5.9 Cummins. Just a plain Ol truck ya know. She wasn’t picky and actually would’ve settled for one in far worse condition than I was happy with. This kid is just to easy to please. My other two daughters sure ain’t. Anyhow I ran across a 2000 crew cab f250 4x4 7.3 powerstroke on Craigslist in Arkansas. We went and looked it over and brought it home. The thing actually handles pretty Daggum good! The entire truck is covered in bed liner. They even masked off places and did interior parts that show when the door is open. I think they covered about 99.4% of the original red paint. Truck has had two owners and the guy we bought it from has owned it 10yrs. He said it was part of his family but was moving and his wife wanted a pool instead of a shop to house his toy. I can’t imagine what he had invested in this ol truck. It leaks nothing. He said he didn’t like oil drips on his garage floor so he kept everything fixed. My daughter is plum tickled and has been driving it everyday getting used to it. I do think I’m gonna put her a back-up camera on it. The drop-hitch was made from a forklift tine. Jasper automatic trans, 12” bds lift and 37x13.50R Nitto extreme terrain mud grapplers on xd rockstar wheels. I would never go to the expense of building this truck but I sure don’t mind buying one cheap. Like I told my wife, if we don’t like it we can make money on this truck.

Yessir that’s my oldest and my youngest daughters. I’m pretty sure my youngest there (6yrs old) is gonna want an old trans am. All she watches is Smokey and the Bandit over and over and over and over.Is that the daughter in question, standing in front of the truck with the little girl? I can’t imagine her driving that behemoth! Good on you, I hope she enjoys and appreciates the truck to the fullest
We are young and obnoxious folks. Lol. Our 6.7 Cummins 5” straight pipe. Cat 3126 in freightliner, straight pipe. This 7.3 straight pipe. Reckon what my wife’s 6.2 Escalade would sound like?????? HmmmSorry it's the old man in me speaking lol. If that's a straight pipe 7.3l I'd be putting a muffler back too I tried that with both our 02' Excursion 7.3l and 03' f250 6.0l....too much noise going down the highway and put mufflers back on lol.
Well time will tell. This daughter is pretty calm SO FAR. My other two daughters....... yeah they get wild. My real concern is that my daughter will let someone else drive the thing. I remember peer pressure and getting caught up in the moment when I was a kid. Hell I still struggle with it now.Really nice truck, will be a lot of fun to drive. Let's hope she doesn't get too crazy going off road in it.
Mine are 15, 12 and 6. Sounds expensive!3 daughters? Me too! 4, 2, and 1 month. Do you want to start a joint investment account to try and fund all these weddings?

I went to high school with a poor little girl that got a new Bandit TransAm for her 16th birthday. The next year her younger sister got a new 25th Anniversary Corvette for her 16th.Buddy of mine has a pair of 1977 TA's
One with T tops and a hard top car which was his first car. He is 50 or so now still has the first car.
I just built a 355" with some Edelbrock heads on it i ported for him.
Sorry guys the 400" Poncho is long gone.. it was a putz and even with mods could not beat my 16.7 ET Oldsmobile.
Both cars had 2.41 rear gears and automatics.
Looked fast on the big screen though.
Buddy had a neighbor with an original Bandit edition TA 1977 all black and garaged.
$800 for the car from his neighbor.
I told him I would loan him the money.
He said he would get it saved up.. this was 15 years ago.
I told him a week later I got the money if you do not buy it i will.
I give him another week to get the money saved and the car got sold ... not to me or him.
He sucks!
This thing was low miles in the 60,000 area and not a flaw.
I called my buddy Bandit for the next few years.
Hey what's happening BANDIT!
Ya got that coming for sure..Fool.
