Cannot sharpen my Benchmade to save my life!!!

Another vote for the Lansky setup with the diamond stones. Buy the separate base. Makes life easier. I've had good luck with these.

I'll hit my knives with the Lansky stones every once in awhile. Which reminds me my dad currently has my set. When I've just beat the crap out of the blade I'll use the Lifesharp program that Benchmade offers. The last time I sent in my old 722 they called me up to suggest a new blade. Its was only 10 years old and I wasn't nice to it.

I don't have the steady hand to freehand any blade with a stone.

Contact Dave McCroskey in Stillwater 747-0087 and he can sharpen anything

I have only handled one knife this guy sharpened. It was amazingly sharp!

I have known Dave since 1976 and have followed his knive building abilities. He has even sharpened hatchets so that they shave. He is extremely friendly and will make your knife sharper than you imagine is possible.

I sharpened my Benchmade yesterday, started out like a butter knife but after ALOT of work, it'll shave hair.

Send it to Benchmade. They'll sharpen it, put in new spacers, lube it and get it back to factory new specs. I send mine in every 6-8 months.
