I understand you have to have a oklahoma state hunting license to use the public ranges now...............................is that true.
Havent been to a public range on state property in 20 years so I really dont know

Canton is a pretty decent place to camp and fish also. I have driven by the range, but have not shot there. I would show up for a day...or weekend of shooting.

Canton Lake is nice, we camp there regularly all year, nothing like drinking cold beer around a campfire... never been to the range actually. My grandparents own land just southwest of Fairview with a range on it so I always shoot there if I'm over that way.
