Cerakote removal

Picked up a used rifle Cerakoted would like to remove it & go back to stainless any ideas of how to with ruining the finish underneath

Bead blast it. Then burnish/polish the stainless on a lathe with emory cloth.

Every cerekoted piece mist first be bead blasted prior to finishing... Trust me, it ain't shiny stainless underneath

If you're patient enough, I suppose you could sand it off, by hand... But it would take some skill to get it even enough for a good looking polish job

Blast with 220 Aluminum Oxide to remove the paint. Then a quick bead blast to smooth the finish out a bit. Then polish to desired final finish.
