I had a 03 ext cab Z71, it did ok offroad with all things considered and the rear locker is a much needed improvement for offroad too. Not all Z71's came with lockers and if yours didnt I would not get too crazy offroad. I agree with the above that the front is a little on the soft side and the they are long in the wheelbase dept, but it makes a nice ride and you have to watch the bumps or you will bottom out the front suspension. I would stay off any trails that are known for offroading.

Mine has typically served me pretty well. I have gotten it into some pretty sloppy situations and i always managed to get out however I wouldnt expect one to perform like a trail rig.

Awww, DPI, Gotta be the same one who is also over on CK5. Always liked your rig and products. Very nice. Ditto on the grocery getter. Must have the solid front axle.
