Get off my lawn.
You know, to be honest, one of the main reasons that most of the original guys don't post here as much as they used to is all the stupid ass comments made by people that think they are cute and hilarious, but come across immature keyboard commandos.

It's sad too, because there is a lot of information that we are missing because of it. It is good to remember that God gave us two ears, and one mouth, need to listen twice as much as speak. Sadly he gave us two hands so now with the internet, people use those instead of the ears. I am glad that some of the older members still post, and haven't given up on this board. I wish some of the others would post more again.

TBH, this is the general discussion section. Not a lot of ideas getting swapped and discussed in here in a serious manner.

If those awesome posters can't handle the GD then why not stick to the other sections of the site? There is still a lot of good discussion about guns in the gun sections. Leaving the site because the GD is a degenerate cesspool is pretty obtuse.

You know the sad part about this is some do not understand that just because you can do or say something, doesn't mean you should. Kind of like pulling up to a stoplight, listening to someone else's rap music with X-rated lyrics with your wife and/or kids in the car. They have First amendment rights, but does not mean they should exercise it indiscriminately. When someone brings up that something might not be respectful, it becomes a pissing contest, or an ego issue.

Has nothing to do with GD. I agree there aremore crap threads here and that is where it should be. I don't even have an issue with those, it is when statements that are made that can be construed as bigoted, just to get a reaction, that I think are immature, and unneeded. Good grief, we had a thread that went 6 pages on whether you wash your hands after using the bathroom. Who cares?, didn't matter, but if was in the right section, no harm no foul. The problem is it does bleed into other sections, and people that are looking to contribute get tired of the stupidity, and instead of making a scene like others, just quit posting.

I am not going to argue about any of it. Just an opinion of how this has changed over the years.

Kid's Backpacks?

I dunno, but I rejoice when I find a "Youth, XXL or 3XL" size pants or shirt in hunting clothes or other clothes, because they're cheaper, and I'm small enough (5/8", 32" waist) that they just might fit me (drawback is I'm ostracized from FGST - kind of like Homer and the No-Homer's club). Thank gawd for obese children!

I also love to shoot and carry youth sized bows and guns. This year the muzzleloader I'm hunting with is a Rossi Youth ML with a 20" bbl - handles like a dream (once you add a slip-on recoil pad on top of the recoil pad to make the LOP close to normal). Shoots pretty well too. Love shooting my Bear Instinct (?) youth 40-50 lb bow - light and handy. Very underappreciated concept I think.

But my backpacks are for men. I prefer Eberlestock or Badlands (though I will say that someone is making a pretty strong set of packs for Redhead/BassPro). Geez, thanks for reminding me how much I loved and miss Sportsman's Warehouse - they stocked Eberlestock and Badlands gear at great prices. :(

Go here, be merry, and live long and prosper: http://www.eberlestock.com/ http://www.eberlestock.com/hunting.htm

For the record, I think whoever made Spongebob was/is on drugs and a bit sadistic - I mean, all the sea critters eat a dish made from *themselves* at the cafe (in one episode they figure this out - yet they still come back and eat there)... entertaining & funny show for a twisted adult such as myself.

Who cares about washing your hands? Apparently 6 pages of people care.

* Maybe you should take your own advice if you hate it here so much. Just sayin'

OH! And speaking of useless/crap threads:
