Well, unless one happens upon a BP (British Petroleum) station. Their company colors includes green, so all their gasoline pumps (they don't sell diesel so far as I know) have the green handle. I found this out when we worked our Summer job in Indiana back in 2019 and were driving a diesel van for the job. Fortunately, I noticed right away that all their pumps were gas instead of diesel.

Someone I know put ten gallons of gasoline in his 03 TDI diesel volkswagen.
Green pump handle.
Bought two 5 gal jugs at walmart and a squeezy bulb for a boat.
Forty five minutes later. Foot tired of stepping on squeezy bulb.
Fingers crossed sufficiently diluted.
Filled up with real diesel.
All is well.
