Good article with photos in the link below. If the Anniston rebuild example shown is actually indicative of the condition of the SG pistols, $1050 is an absolute steal. The FG guns will likely not disappoint either since the CMP tends to under-promise and over-deliver in regards to their grading. Complain all you want about pricing...demand will far exceed supply. The article estimates 75,000 individuals entering the lottery. I've seen other estimates in the 100,000 - 200,000 range.

So for those that are complaining about CMP prices, you should consider they use part of that money for their scholarship program. For the 2018-2019 school year, they have awarded $151,000 in scholarships to young shooters.
