That is a fact.
Guys use parchment paper under the bullets instead of non stick foil.
The bullets did stick a little bit to the foil and i purchased reynolds and used the correct side.
NO sticking on the parchment paper..I also turned the heat down to 375 worked just as good in the toaster oven.
YMMV as not all ovens act the same.

If anyone wants to try some 45acp coated ones come on by I will give you some to try.
They should be 200 gr and will take a trip through my lee push through sizer which is .452"
Yea I know you guys probably like .451"

I like .451 for jacketed and +0.001 for lead. Never tried coated so I have no preference yet. I would assume that they would follow lead more than jacketed.

Yeah, everything I have read says to definitely use the red from HF. AND, they still have it on the shelf (talked to them this afternoon). Good to know about the parchment paper ... got some in the cabinet, but do not have any non-stick foil (honestly, didn't know there was such a thing!). Is everybody just using one coat of the powder coating, or multiple coats? Got my Bayou Bullets this afternoon and they look fine. However, it looks to me like they just gave them one coat. It looks thin, but I cannot penetrate it with a thumbnail. It is easily penetrated with a pocket knife.

They had the red in stock on the shelf when I got mine.. do not get black.
no acetone or anything.
My hands are dry all the time and I washed and dried them on the last 2 batches and picked up the bullets with my fingers and placed them on the cooking sheet with foil.

Get this my fingers are now covered in powder coat .. some bullets had nose space that did not have the powder on them..I touched the nose with my finger and it covered the empty space.

Almost too easy.

My buddy came by and tried to scratch the cooked on stuff off. Not happening.

I had a hammer on the floor he whacked the bullet 3 times and turned it into a pancake the powder coating is still attached.

You got any pics of the finished product? (flattened, or not!)

I turned som program off on this computter that was always running and it made it not recognize a camera when I plug one in.
So no pics.

One coat only and I will be trying lower temps, less time and see what happens.
If you come by bring your coated bullets.. a couple anyway.

I walked the 200 yd round trip to the barn/reloading shop for this pic. The berry's is the one in the calipers.

I should be so lucky as to have a reloading shop in the barn. Horses or heifers or cows or the bull would be in there reloading the floor with paddies. On the bright side, if I could train my favorite ranch horse to reload, it would be AWESOME!!!
