Our Western sky is over the Phillips refinery in Ponca. I couldn't see the comet with the naked eye but got a fuzzy image of it using the iPhone.

I tried the phone and binoculars. Still no joy.

So far we were only able to see it Sunday or Monday night. I've looked the last couple of nights after sunset and couldn't find it with binos.

There's an app that shows all the stars and as you point your phone it shows all that is up there.
Wife was using it the other day. Really cool.

Stellarium is a good one, but is overkill for most folks. I liked the one that Google used to maintain, but they quit years ago. It's not even on the play store anymore unfortunately.
