Confederate flag won't be up for breakfast

I'm a Confederate descendent, and proud of my southern heritage, but since the stars & bars became the icon for skinheads, neo-nazis, weak-ass klan wannabees, and assorted other peckerwoods it no longer has any validity as a symbol of anything but being pissignorant and just plain sorry.

The story i saw said the flag is actually physically fixed to the pole (i.e. Can't be raised or lowered). In order to remove it, a vote must be taken and it requires something like 2/3 majority in both houses.

Yup.

Gov. Haley can't do anything about the flag, including put it at half staff.
