Anybody know what twist Thompson Center uses in their .223 carbine barrels?

Thoughts about best twist for .223 60 grainers? Seems to be kind of in between 1:9 and 1:8. Experience?

All .224 caliber barrels for T/C Encores and Contenders are 1:12 twist.

Twist needed depends more on bullet length than weight. A long boat tailed spitzer bullet weighing 60 grains might not be stabilized adequately with a 1:12 twist barrel. I shoot Speer 70 gr. Semi-Spitzers in mine which are shorter, since the nose is slightly rounded and they have a flat base, with excellent results.
