Now, etch the makers mark and put on some black micarta scales.

Thanks for looking!

You mean this clown?! The oxygen thief?!
[Broken External Image]

You can have him! he's on 64/51 headed west tomorrow morning. Maybe you can get him to do something other than just sit there!

LMAO, there is that useless shop help. I think you need to demote him. He aint working hard enough on that steel horse. Push, breath, push breath....LOL Man, I need a shop helper....even if all he does is sit there and keep me company.

When you get back from the next show, I think I need to place my order with you buddy. yeah I know I can walk into the gun shop and grab one. I think I need to drive up and pick one up myself!

Ok, coffee break over. You finished making that knife yet....hehe

Back to the grinder using the flat platen - rough out the shape of the scales

[Broken External Image]

Make sure the front of your scales are done the way you want them - after you get them epoxied on it's too late.
[Broken External Image]

Put some divots into the micarta so the epoxy has something to hold onto - I'm using corby bolts as well.
[Broken External Image]

True up your scales so they're nice and flat
[Broken External Image]

Dry fit scales now - make adjustments if needed. Only one side will be epoxied now. You'll see why later.

Glued up and clamped up for the night.

Stay tuned ~
