Crush washer/ Silencer

Since i am new to this silencer thing, do yall leave the crush washer on or remove it when installing a silencer on the barrel.
I think i know the answer but just making sure.

Do NOT use crush washers. They can cause a slight cant which can lead to baffle strikes.
Use shims if you're mounting a QD brake/FH. Direct thread, no need for shims.

OK was doing the direct thread mount and didnt figure you used the washer but just making sure.

Personally I don't use one. Don't see the need.

I've had crush washers cause enough "outoout round" that a muzzle break had bullet strikes. Not often but it has happened. I personally wouldn't, and if you read All the way down in that companies info there are all sorts of conditions to use one. For the cost of a can I'd hate to chance it!
