I picked up my 3rd Dan Wesson yesterday from Eric at OPS. He said said "that's an incredibly nice 1911". Eric's ccw was a m&p btw.
Yeah, he got a new Wilson from Bill after his last one went over 80K+ rounds. He told me he doesn't want anything to happen to it should he need to use it in the shop and the M&P was free.
FWIW, a Wilson is a significant step above a DW too. Like Baer, they do all their frames and slides in-house.... unlike DW...
