Dang it!!! I hate when this happens.

So I opened the case I keep my CZ-512 Carbine in,,,
I noticed that the 5-round magazine wasn't in the rifle.

I checked the case thoroughly,,,
And emptied my range bag and ammo bag,,,
It's gone and I can't remember exactly what I did with it.

I must have left it on the bench last time I was shooting.

I'm very bummed out.

As I get older I now have to take a checklist with me so I don't forget anything laying on the bench at the range

When I was living just south of the town of Mojave, yes, that's Commiefornia, I used to go through the canyons at the end of the day to pick up brass after the people left.

I could fill a 5 gallon bucket with all sorts of brass but I would find things like magazines frequently.

One time I even found a complete 12 gauge shotgun that someone used as target practice.

It's crazy what you can forget. I usually have a list with me of what I brought because I'm old and forgetful.

It's been a couple of weeks.

The real problem is that I went to CZ-USA, Brownells, Buds, and several other places,,,
Not one of them has a five or ten round mag in stock.

I did find that Buds had a 25 rounder in stock,,,
So I said what the heck and started to order one of them,,,
Only to find that for some reason Buds won't ship to my P.O. Box.

I've been ordering stuff from them for years,,,
Probably 15-20 orders to my P.O. Box,,,
I wonder what changed?

I did find some CZ mags at a place I ordered from a little while back,,,
gregcotellc.com.

I ordered one 5-round metal mag, 3-ten round plastic mags,,,
And one of the 25 rounders just for the heck of it.

With the shortage of CZ mags that seems to be the norm,,,
I figured I would stock up while I have the chance.
