At one time (many years ago) they had good supplies and decent pricing. After Sandy Hook and PR stunt of banning sale of AR styles rifles in their stores. (Only to transfer them to the sister stores Field and Stream). I have not set foot in one and will not, no matter the circumstances.

Yep . . . used to shop there quite often until they pulled this stunt.

I shop at Dick's whenever they do 25% off and stock up on some Under Armour boxer jocks or OSU gear. Since my boys play sports we get the coupons emailed to us every few months.

Dicks reminds me of Dunham’s here in Shawnee. That place sucks! I was killing to get an academy but NOOOO! Had to be this crappy place. I went into Dicks once about 7 years ago or so. Never been back since.

I've been in dunhams 3-4 times. Its hard to find anyone that works there.

Only chicks like to shop at the dicks store. From time to time I just go in to see if they have anything good on sale, even when their merchandise is on sale you still pay way more than you will pay in academy.

Dunham’s in Hutchinson Kansas may have one employee hiding in the back. I have to search them out. Only good purchase was rebated Remington 9mm Black Friday. Was $5 per box. Miss those days!

Only Reason I have ever shopped there is I had a gift card. Bought the value of the gift card and a dollar or two more, never went in again.

If your B-I-L is anywhere near a Vintage Stock, they buy all sorts of gift cards. He'd probably get as much value out of it by doing that as by buying overpriced Dick's ammo.
