Does Oklahoma have any laws for how much powder can be stored in a residence?

I know there is some fed reg and my local city regs but im un aware of any state regs on it but ther fire marshall does have the final say in it
I had the local LE called on me once when wife was having a yard sale and i put some brass out to see if she could sale it for me and a guy called in stating i was selling ammo, well the local LE range officer showed up which i knew personally, and we both had a good laugh.
And dont store it in a sealed metal container cause then you have just created a boom and they can charge you for such if they ever find it.

I looked it up once. I do not remember where or how I found the regs. It seems like it was some type of fire code. I know there are regulations for OKC. I do not remember, but it seems like you could keep something like 20 pounds. I think you could keep like 34 pounds if you had it in a wooden cabinet that was 1" thick. I have a lot and I am very concerned about all of the powder, primers and fuels in my garage. I have looked on the web for a wooden 1" cabinet but I have never found one. I have heard of people using old refrigerators. I guess I need to build one. Good luck!

The Fire Code in the top link is used by the State Fire Marshal's office. The requirements for a sprinklered building apply to business applications, not residential.

The second link says "The page cannot be found".

The Fire Codes at both levels were designed and adopted for businesses and public occupancy. The Fire Marshal has very little jurisdiction in a single family dwelling. An apartment complex is a different situation.

I believe you are quoting how much can be on display in a retail environment. You don't necessarily have to be sprinkled, either.

Non Sprinkled building you are limited to 10,000 primers (2 Cases) if you have a sprinkled building 25,000 primers (5 Cases)

Most Retail Stores have more than the Fire Marshall rules allow!
(Retail Store could/must have a permit that allows over the limit?)

What you quoted allows 10k in a building without sprinklers. 25k in a building with sprinklers.

They generally have what the codes/Fire Marshal allows till he walks out the door. Inspections are scheduled yearly unless a complaint has been made. No permits that I'm aware of to allow over the limits that the codes allow.
