How long do you think bagged dove will last in the field, before they need to be cleaned and cooled?

I put them in the shade when its hot, and on ice after the hunt. I may not breast them out until the next day after an evening hunt.

Still plenty of birds, most changed direction of flight from the last few evening though. Justin was on tonight. Some mourners and the first bird of the night was jumbo.

I was lucky enough to get an invite to bring my family and hunt over a pond. As it was one of the free hunting days, I twisted my wife's arm to go. We got two birds with her shooting one of them and missed even more. One of my favorite dove hunts ever. My daughter was asking to go again this morning.
