eat in Enid

Jumbos, it the grocery store on the east side. They have pretty darn good food at their restaurant inside.

tell us how you really feel steve! theres some truth there though. thats why flatwins and i left at early ages never to return. okie4570 got the callahans right. they have a nice menu and i've always liked what i ordered. for mexican i like playa azul on owen k garriot by the tracks. the wee too restaurant for breakfast out by the fairgrounds.

Ha! Well, yeah, that may have sounded a little harsh. ;-). Man, I haven't been to Wee Too in forever.

It's a shame Wagon Wheel isn't still open..

+1 on jumbos, my parents live within walking distance. the deli looks awesome and mom and dad really like the ribeye night. tues i think

Man, the old wagon Wheel was a pretty good diner back in the day. I worked for Bekins van lines right after High School. We were in Enid a lot to move the folks into and from Vance.
That place was our favorite.

+1 on WeeToo if you're gonna' be here for breakfast. I won't set foot in Cafe Garcia. If I want Mexican, it's usually LaFiesta. As somebody said, Pastimes is closed 'while the construction is going on downtown.' I have my doubts they will ever re-open. I guess Rib Crib is good if that's what you're into and don't mind waiting on a table. Of course, there's Chili's and Applebee's side-by-side on Garriott. I've always said, and I maintain, there is not one restaurant in this town worth waiting on a table more than five minutes.

Sadly so. We ate there twice last week. Will eat there two or three times next week as well. Friday evening, there was a lady placing an order for 5 gallons of their salad dressing. Did the t-bone and chicken fried steak last week. Liver and onions up next!!

Sad to see a place that has been there for so long, but at 90 the guy needs a break.

Never ate there, but I do like liver and onions.
