Life causes death.
Back in the day when people died around age 40-50, there was no such thing as cancer because people weren't living long enough to see much of it. Now that the average age of death is into the 70's, cancer is being seen rampantly.
It is true that smoking/grilling is correlated with higher instances of colon/bladder cancer due to the nasty stuff that gets cooked into the food. Wouldn't be an issue if we still died "young."

I agree. We cook on the grill almost every night. I am not going to sit and worry about it.
