Next time I visit, I'll have to pick up some 'medicine'... You'll have clear sinuses after that. Lol, he even does a spiced orange that he uses in hot toddy's. I remember when I had the flu when I was about 15, my grandfather made me a hot toddy, I chugged it, cleared me right up, then my throat got really hot, then I got woozy, next thing I know its about 5 hours later, I'm waking up, fever has broke. The stuff works, but I am guessing that giving 4 oz. of moonshine to a 15 year old would pretty much pickle them regardless.

Agreed... wonder what the regulations are in reguards to home brewers sharing with friends. I know a lot make beer but not the hard stuff.
Just buy Everclear and flavor it yourself. Here is a recipe for Blackberry Whiskey, but the process is basically the same.

Yea I'm actually making up some of the apple pie stuff today with some everclear 190. Direction on page 2 I think.
I went to 2 different liquor stores looking for Old Smoky... No go, I take it, no one in OKC carries it huh?... All I found was Midnight Moon brand in various flavors... I'm gonna try either the Apple Pie or maybe BlackBerry.
There is a liquor store in Piedmont that sells Ole Smokey. Ive had some of the shine and some of there cherries and that is literally the nastiest crap ive ever tasted in my life. It tastes like pure rubbing alcohol. I dont see how anyone in this world could honestly say that crap is good. 14 people at the party tried it and everyone there said it was the worst thing they had ever tried. Straight everclear tastes better then that crap.
