Just saw a news report from Dallas TX. A semi caring a load of eggs, 30,000 pounds worth, hit a low bridge and made a huge mess. I’d hate to be cleaning that up.

Trapped 14 more wild pigs and the farmer gave me a couple dozen more eggs. Fried 3 with some bacon for dinner. Sand plum jelly on toast. Mmm. Pig picture in the Head Count thread.

Was in Walmart today and found cartoons of brown eggs $1.94 dz. Not sure if they are all layed out the same but if so, pressed paper cartoons on the top shelve. Next to those in the clear cartoons.

Years ago I worked at Walmart. One of my coworkers kept chickens and would freeze the eggs. She would crack two into a baby food jar, cap them with the original lid and put them in the freezer. She did it for years.

My mother freezes eggs in little plastic cups then puts them in a bag still in the cup.

Friend of mine lost 3 chickens to a raccoon. It won't do that again. Was offered more eggs and given a couple pounds of breakfast sausage. Haven't seen any feral pigs in over a week. No panic, I have other places with hogs.
