Thank you for the input folks. Unfortunately due to confidentiality agreements I can't disclose name or industry until a later date. The business model itself isn't a concern as much as the area and quality of life. Both towns appear to almost similar in population and are both showing age. It looks like Chickasha has had more new growth which is promising.
My wife, who has family in both, said chickisha without hesitation. but then mentioned well, they are both up there in crime rates…

I don’t want to live or work in either. Gone to both often.

El Reno to me has always been a dirty town. Just passing through on 81 from the north is a royal pain having to go through town with a few blocks of doglegs and two bridges. You can take the scenic route by the cemetery and King Electric if you have 4WD on the far north road. To me the only thing the casino is good for is bands and food.

Besides in Chickasha you might get to go to the Chevy dealer. Don't know if she's John's daughter, married, dating?

I’m thinking you can’t afford the payments and if you can, good luck affording the maintenance.

I would try and expand my horizons if possible. Yukon, mustang, Blanchard would all likely be better options if you could.

Edit to add: my wife is from el reno, and we go there often to visit her family and shop as we are super close by. When my wife and I were looking to come back this way from Stillwater, El Reno was the only option not on the table, from either of us

El Reno:
close to OKC/Yukon/etc. from mustang el Reno is a great commute in my opinion. Did it for years, and the mustang/Yukon schools are fantastic from what I have heard, if that’s a concern.
off i40 which is busy and free to travel on.
Onion burgers. Nuff said.
There’s some other good places to eat there too.
The place is tornado central. Worse than Moore. I wouldn’t live there.
I’ve heard the schools suck

Chickasha:
Jake’s rib
The turnpike is pretty much new. The drive isn’t terrible, but it’s a ways and not free.
Has everything amenities wise that el Reno has.
Haven’t heard anything about the schools.
Short trip to Lawton, though I’m not a fan of the place.

If it were me, and I had a family, I would work in el Reno, live in Yukon/mustang where they can get good schools, and the wife can work/shop/whatever women do all over the OKC area.
Pretty much what I did for years, but I wasn’t married nor did I have kids.

I would disagree with some of the above that said Chickasha for future growth. Mustang, Yukon, and Piedmont are all about out of room so everything will continue to expand west toward El Reno in the following years. The plus for Chickasha is all the small towns (400-1000 populations) that they draw. (Ninnekah, Cement, Cyril, Verden, Rush Springs, Dibble, Alex...) So you probably get another 10,000 or so customers.
