I am not pushing anything but the truth. Gold? Sure, I have some, but everyone else can buy marbles for all I care. I really just wanted people to watch this to think about things coming. Prepping? Sure, I am ready. More than I am willing to discuss or you can imagine. You do what you want. All the videos explain is when this all goes down you will know why. I really thought this was very imformative and everyone should know. Guess it is hard to get an honest discussion. I understand. I would have just really liked people just to have watched them and have some honest input on what they thought. I have no problem with a little kidding. That is fine. I thought this was important enough to post and let people decide for themselves. Don't ask me for help.

Does anyone really think gold and silver will matter when the SHTF? People will trade for USEFUL things like food, fire starters, tools, guns, ammo, etc. If there is a shortage of food, who is going to take gold or silver in exchange for food? Go read SHTFblog.com. It is a blog about a family that survied in Croatia during all the crap that went on there in the 90's. BRUTAL. Money and Gold were not what got people by. The main "currency" was whatever people needed to survive. Liquor, toilet paper, tampons, maxi-pads, knives, tarps, nails, hammers, saws, axes, flints, knife-sharpeners, shampoo, soap, bleach, medicines, ect. THAT will be the currency after SHTF. I feel sorry for the libtards that don't own guns. They will learn the error of their ways if SHTF happens.

Amazing. I would like just one response on the subject at hand. 15 posts and from what I can tell, no one has watched the video. For some reason, gold has got into this someway. I guess the financial part overwhelmed some people. That is not what it is about. It is just to tell you what has caused this. In the last video she actually says buy food and guns and ammo but since everyone would like to crack jokes and make an uninformed comments and not actually watch the videos. Like I said, still would like to hear from someone that actually watched it.
Of course, you realize that you have little idea of what the participants at OSA's forums have been doing for the last few years. How do you know that many of these people have not watched those videos? Is it just possible that many of the folks here have been way ahead of you.
Why gold got into it is because of the numerous books, videos, and internet links to who-knows-how-many scams put up by folks trying to get your money now. As far as gold is concerned, how many countries still have gold as a legal tender, and how many of those would one want to go to and take one's gold and live?
Heh, there are some of us that still remember at least the history of the Wiemar Republic and its economic woes. An example:

Guess what....Bernanke and the current president and his administration is already doing some of this. Why do you think the Tea Party and now the protectors of the 2nd Amendment are rallying?
So, since many of us have seen so much that is likely similar to what is in the video, some of which has actually come to past, you can see why we don't take yet one more person's commentary on it too seriously.

I don't mean to argue and start a war. This is exactly why I post so little. I know, and most know all of this you speak of. I as you say, along with alot here are doing the same thing. I just wanted some conversation about how the banks and all of the crazy practices in the financial system, which is promoted by our government, has destroyed our country. This is not a pissing match as now you have made it. We know all that you have stated, now that you have enlightened us, but still no comment on what is in the video. And if some have all ready seen it, it would suffice to just say, "yea, I have seen or heard that and it sucks". I am not here to show everyone what I know, unlike what I have experienced, I just wanted a conversation and see if anyone thought of this like I did. Don't worry, my skin is plenty thick but I won't bother anyone again with interesting reads or videos like this.
Almost everyone predicting a "collapse" is selling something.
I've been looking, but I've yet to find an educated and impartial economist/think tank that claims that the "house of cards" even exists or is going to collapse anytime soon. (obviously things aren't rosy...but I personally think we are a long way from a collapse. Long slow squeeze maybe...)
