That's still unfair to call it a "gunshow loophole" because in that example the same person could come here and buy something. Go to Armslist and buy something. The whole "gunshow" thing is just because it's a high visibility place where a lot of trading/buying/selling takes place.
I know, and I agree. No matter how you slice it, even if a background check at a gun show did actually save a life, you still can’t cover up the fact that if that person who bought that gun wasn’t able to buy it were he did, there’s always somewhere else where he could’ve gotten it.
